We acknowledge that no-one knows a child as well as his or her parents and we draw on this knowledge to develop each child’s Individual Education Plan. Parents and staff meet at the beginning of each year to set goals for the child and discuss ways we can work on these together.
Programs are reviewed at mid year when parents meet with their child’s teacher. Student progress and the effectiveness of strategies being used is continually monitored and discussed with parents.
Regular communication occurs through communication books, by telephone as well as more formal meetings.
